SeaPattern is founded out of research at Linköping University, starting from a single question: how much energy runs straight through Europe's power plants without being captured?
First field test
The first field tests are carried out together with Tekniska Verken – under real conditions.
€5M round
Norrsken Launcher invests early in the year. A private round led by Industrifonden, €6.5M+ in total funding. Manufacturing partnership with Actemium (VINCI Energies), commercial memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a European utility, and participation in the Civil-Military Innovation Programme (CMIP).
Industrialization phase
Continued tests of turbine clusters and preparations for industrialization. The pre-series turbines are being built for the next installations. From pilot to product.
